Complete Two-Car Garage Drawings
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I already have a preliminary floor plan and elevations for a detached two-car garage; what I still need is a full set of construction-ready drawings that I can submit to my local building department and hand to the contractor.
Scope of work
Please take my sketches and develop clear, code-compliant sheets that cover the structure from the footing up. That means foundation plan, wall and roof framing, roof plan, sections, details, door and window schedules, notes—everything normally expected in a residential permit set.
Electrical requirements
I would also like you to add a basic electrical layout. Nothing elaborate: just show circuit runs, panel location, switches, and fixture symbols. The garage must include dedicated 120 V outlets along the workbench wall for power tools, ceiling-mounted LED lighting fixtures, and a 240 V circuit and receptacle for a future electric-car charging station.
Deliverables
• PDF set suitable for permit submission
• Editable CAD (DWG or similar) for future changes
