Commercial Building 2D CAD Layout

This project calls for a detailed 2D AutoCAD layout of a commercial-grade industrial plant. The drawing must serve as an architectural plan that can be handed straight to engineers and contractors, so accuracy and clear layering are essential.

Scope
• One complete floor-plan in AutoCAD (.dwg) showing walls, columns, machinery bays, service corridors, emergency exits and any internal office pockets that support the plant’s operation.
• Clean layer management following standard architectural conventions—structure, annotation, dimensions, furniture/equipment, utilities.
• Scaled dimensions, room names, grid lines and north arrow.

Acceptance Criteria
• File opens error-free in AutoCAD 2021 or newer.
• All dimensions check out against the provided measurements.
• Line weights and layers print legibly to both A1 and A3 PDF sheets supplied with the source file.

Although retail spaces, general offices or shared common areas might feature in other commercial projects, this brief is strictly focused on an industrial plant layout. If supporting admin offices or staff amenities appear within the footprint, treat them as secondary zones while maintaining overall spatial coherence.

Expect one round of comments after the first draft and a final submission upon sign-off.
