Christmas Nutcracker Technical Designs
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I have sketched out several Christmas nutcrackers—and now need them transformed into factory-ready documentation. I’m after full technical drawings, not loose sketches or mood boards. Each piece should keep the charm of a traditional nutcracker while adding a subtle modern twist so they stand out on today’s shelves.
Materials are mixed: the bodies will be made of wood, resin or plastic. Add decorative accents such as capes or a resin cupcake on top of a wooden nutcracker. The drawings therefore have to spell out exact dimensions, materials, finishing notes, and Pantone C colors so my team in China can move directly into prototypes and tooling without additional interpretation.
Deliverables I expect
• 2D dimensioned views and exploded views for details
• Material and finish schedule, including any resin mould part-lines called out
• All colors and finishes clearly noted
Files should be laid out in clear, production-friendly English, with metric units.
Once the first design is approved, there will be several more in the same line, so a concise revision workflow and the ability to hit tight pre-Christmas timelines are appreciated.
