3D and 2D CNC Modeling - Floating Table
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
PROJECT: HIGH-PRECISION 3D AND 2D MODELING FOR CNC (FLOATING TOP TABLE)
!!! MANDATORY: READ BEFORE BIDDING !!!
REVIEW ATTACHED PDF: "Floating Top Table."
REVIEW THE FULL PART LIST BELOW.
In your proposal, you MUST include this exact phrase: "I will provide 3D Rotary and 2D files for every part including the support mortises." If this phrase is missing, your bid will be ignored.
1. SCOPE OF WORK
Convert every wooden component in the attached PDF into individual, CNC-ready files.
CRITICAL (PART A - LEGS): I require TWO types of files for the legs:
3D ROTARY: A full 3D model (STEP/STL) for 4-axis machining.
2D VECTORS: Flat 2D DXF/CRV files for indexed 3-axis machining.
2. REQUIRED DELIVERABLES (PER PART)
3D FILES: .STL (High resolution) AND .STEP.
2D FILES: .CRV (Vectric VCarve) or .DXF (Clean, closed vectors).
ASSEMBLY: One master .STL or .STEP file showing all parts fitted together.
3. FULL PARTS LIST (SCALE 1:1 - INCHES)
PART A: LEGS (QTY 4)
Dimensions: 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 25-1/4"
Details: 2-face taper; Beveled top; 3/8" x 2-1/8" mortises (15/16" deep).
PART B1: SIDE APRONS (QTY 2)
Dimensions: 3/4" x 2-1/2" x 18-1/2"
Details: 15/16" Tenons on both ends.
PART B2: FRONT/BACK APRONS (QTY 2)
Dimensions: 3/4" x 2-1/2" x 18-1/2"
Details: 15/16" Tenons PLUS 3/8" x 1-5/8" mortises (7/16" deep) for Supports.
PART C: SUPPORTS (QTY 2)
Dimensions: 3/4" x 3-1/2" x 18-1/2"
Details: 1-1/2" Radius curves; 7/16" Tenons; 11/16" hardware pockets (1/8" deep).
PART D: TABLETOP (QTY 1)
Dimensions: 3/4" x 22" x 22"
Details: 22-degree bottom bevel (MUST leave 1/8" vertical shoulder at top edge).
4. TECHNICAL CNC STANDARDS
MORTISE & TENON: All joints must be modeled to exact depths/locations per PDF.
DOG-BONE FILLETS: Add dog-bone fillets to all INTERNAL corners of all mortises (Parts A and B2). Use a radius for a 1/8" (0.125") bit.
ASSEMBLY CLEARANCE: Apply a 0.01" (0.25mm) offset to all tenons for a proper glue fit.
ROTARY ALIGNMENT: Part A (Legs) must be centered for a 4th-axis rotary indexer.
SEPARATION: Every unique part (A, B1, B2, C, D) must be a separate file in organized folders.
5. MANDATORY QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) CHECK
[ ] ALIGNMENT: Part A (Legs) 2D vectors must match the 3D model faces exactly.
[ ] SUPPORT FIT: Verify Support (C) tenons fit into Front/Back Apron (B2) mortises.
[ ] HARDWARE CHECK: Verify 11/16" pockets in supports are centered for Figure-8 fasteners.
[ ] DIMENSIONS: All dimensions must match the PDF Materials List exactly.
