2D CAD Structural STEP Conversion
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I have a complete set of 2-D CAD drawings that must be rebuilt as a single, accurate STEP model ready for FEA. Every element needs to come across with its real-world properties:
• Material thicknesses preserved exactly as shown on the prints.
• All bolt holes larger than 1/2" located and sized correctly.
• Standard structural shapes (channels, angles, wide-flange, etc.) modeled as their native profiles rather than as generic solids.
The deliverable is a clean .STEP file that will open trouble-free in SolidWorks or Inventor.
If you have a reliable workflow for turning 2-D drawings into production-ready 3-D models and can meet these points, I’d like to get this underway right away.
