CAD Overlay for Parking Tech Equipment
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
Project Overview
We are a parking technology company and need a CAD drafter to overlay our equipment onto a DWG site plan. The output will be both a clean 2D overlay (for builders) and a simple 3D/isometric visual (for tender presentation).
What We Provide:
- DWG site drawings (base plan).
- Equipment datasheets & dimensions:
- In-Lane Pay Station
- Boom Gate
-ANPR Camera.
-Intercom (mounted on post).
- Rough mark-up/sketch showing equipment positions and orientations.
- Example 3D/isometric view for similar setup
Deliverables:
2D overlay drawing (DWG + PDF):
- Place equipment to scale on contractor’s plan.
- Label each item clearly (e.g., “Pay Station,” “ANPR Camera”).
- Include swing arc for boom gate arms (If possible, not mandatory).
3D/isometric view (DWG/Revit/SketchUp + PDF export)
- Extruded equipment blocks to correct scale.
- Apply simple colours/textures (Matches the colors of equipment in datasheet)
- Vehicle flow arrows included.
Source files (DWG) so we can use/edit in future.
Final deliverables must include both presentation PDFs and editable source files.
Requirements:
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
Experience in site equipment overlays, car park layouts, or similar civil/architectural drafting.
Able to complete within 4–7 days.
Attention to detail, must match equipment dimensions provided.
Future Work:
This project is for one car park, but we will have ongoing work for additional retail and commercial sites. Delivering good quality and clean files may lead to repeat projects.
