2D CAD Light-Gauge Walls

The project involves creating brand-new 2D shop drawings for a series of light-gauge steel wall panels. All drafting must be done in AutoCAD so that the files slot straight into our existing workflow. Because no hand sketches or legacy blueprints are available, the layout will start from the architectural intent I’ll share: overall wall lengths, opening positions, and load requirements.

What I need in the final DWG set:
• Panel outlines with every stud, track, and bracing member shown
• Exact member sizes, gauges, and center-to-center spacings called out on plan and elevation views
• Overall and cumulative dimensions that allow the fabrication team to cut members without further interpretation
• Separate layers for framing, annotations, and dimensions to keep the file clean

Acceptance will be based on:
1. All dimensions matching the mark-ups I supply to the millimeter.
2. Layer names and colours following the simple template I provide.
3. A quick screen-share review showing that the file opens error-free in AutoCAD 2023.

PDFs for quick reference and a single zipped DWG are the only deliverables required at hand-off. If anything is unclear during the process, I’ll be on call for clarifications so the drawings stay accurate and move smoothly into fabrication.
