CAD Drafter for Timber Shopfront Design

Project Description
I am looking for an architectural / CAD drafter to produce accurate, measured 2D drawings for a proposed timber heritage-style shopfront to an existing building. The drawings will be used for planning submission, so accuracy, clarity, and traditional shopfront proportions are essential.

I already have the design intent, reference elevations, photos, and full dimensional set-out. The task is to translate this into clean, professional, dimensioned drawings that can then be further detailed.

Scope of Work

You will be required to produce: 3 x Proposed GA Shopfront Elevation - 3 x Key Sections (planning level) Drawing Output

Issued as PDFs in:

A1 format

A3 format

Same content on both sheets, only scaled/formatted differently.

Black linework suitable for planning, with restrained annotation.

Style / References Provided

Existing building photos.

Reference heritage shopfront elevations.

Colour reference (RAL 6009 – dark green).

Marked-up images showing exact set-out and intent.

Software Requirements

LibreCAD, FreeCAD, AutoCAD, DraftSight, or equivalent professional CAD software.

Drawings must be accurately dimensioned (not illustrative only).

Deliverables

Editable source file (DWG or DXF).

PDF issue set (A1 + A3).

Key Skills Required

Timeline

Initial GA elevation: quick turnaround preferred (2–4 days).

Sections to follow immediately after approval of GA.
