Beginner Mechanical AutoCAD Tutor Needed
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I’m just starting out with mechanical drawings in AutoCAD and need someone who can walk me through the very first steps without assuming any prior drafting experience. The priority is to help me get comfortable creating basic shapes and models, then show how those elements come together inside a real-world mechanical drawing.
We’ll begin with a clean install of AutoCAD (or AutoCAD Mechanical, if you prefer) and work on simple 2D geometry before moving into slightly more complex parts, layers, and viewports. I’d like plenty of screen-sharing time where you demonstrate, then let me try while you coach me on shortcuts, snaps, object properties, and proper layer management. As soon as I’m solid on the basics, we’ll transition into reading and reproducing straightforward mechanical prints so I understand line types, section views, and best practices for clarity.
I’m flexible on how we meet—live online sessions, shared recordings for later review, or a blend of both—so long as each lesson ends with a small assignment and feedback on what to improve next time. By the end I should have:
• A set of practice DWG files that show progressive improvement
• A mini-project (e.g., a simple bracket or housing) fully dimensioned and annotated
• A concise checklist of commands and workflows to reinforce the habits you’ve taught
If you have teaching experience, patient communication, and a solid grasp of core AutoCAD tools, I’d love to hear how you’d structure the first few hours and the resources you typically provide.
