AutoCAD Steel Plate Drafting

Job ID: 40032320

Budget: $30 – $250 SGD

I regularly need clear, fabrication-ready drawings for plate-based steel jobs. Every request arrives with my hand sketch or a structural reference; what I need back is an AutoCAD DWG that a fabrication shop can open and start cutting from without extra questions.

Key points I must see in each drawing:
• All relevant material specifications called out exactly as supplied
• Straightforward assembly instructions that a shop floor supervisor can follow at a glance

Measurements usually come from my mark-ups, so focus on keeping the plate profiles accurate and the notes consistent with Australian steel standards. Layer naming and line-types should follow standard AutoCAD practice—nothing exotic that might trigger proxy warnings on older versions.

Typical turnaround is two business days for small batches. I will release reference files, templates, and a previous sample set once we agree on a job, and I’m happy to answer quick RFIs in real time through chat.

Deliverables for each task
1. Clean DWG (AutoCAD 2020 or earlier)
2. PDF shop drawing ready to print at A3
3. CSV or simple table listing the plate numbers and material call-outs for the cutting list

I sign off as soon as I can load the drawing, see the layers organised, and match the material tags to the cutting list. If this ad-hoc workflow suits you, let’s start with a single plate set and build from there.
