AutoCAD Floor Plan Package
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have a single-page PDF floor plan that needs to be recreated from scratch in AutoCAD. The final drawing set should look clean and professional yet remain fully editable for future class revisions.
Scope of redraw
• Trace / redraw the entire plan at true scale, then organise it on an 11" × 17" sheet with properly set viewports.
• Build two main drawings:
– Technical floor plan showing room names and dimensions, complete furniture layout, and all window & door details.
– Combined Electrical plan / RCP indicating lighting fixtures, switches and outlets, plus ceiling-fan placements.
• Produce at least four interior elevations; I definitely need the kitchen, bathroom, and living-room walls—feel free to choose a fourth if one is useful for clarity.
• Add any extra views you feel are necessary for a tidy presentation.
Layering & standards
Architecture, electrical, furniture, dimensions, and annotation layers should stay separate, clearly named, unlocked, and visible. Please assign sensible lineweights and colours so the file is plot-ready the moment I receive it.
Deliverables
1. One PDF drawing package ready to print on tabloid (11" × 17").
2. The native, completely unlocked DWG—no XREFs or third-party plug-ins—so I can revise it later.
Acceptance criteria
• All dimensions check against the original PDF.
• Every symbol, note, and tag appears in the correct layer.
• Viewports plot at the intended scale without manual tweaking.
