Description:
I am seeking a highly skilled and experienced AutoCAD designer or signage draftsman who can create professional signage drawings required for city permit approvals
Scope of Work:
- Convert photos of proposed signage into detailed and professional drawings.
- Provide elevation views, cross-sections, and mounting details.
- Ensure drawings comply with local city by-law and permit submission standards.
- Use examples provided (see attached approved PDFs) as reference.
- Final files should be ready for submission to the City for sign permit approval.
What I Will Provide:
- Photos of the sign and installation site.
- Exact measurements and specifications.
- Sample approved drawings from other projects as references.
Your Deliverables Should Include:
- Full set of drawings including plan view, elevation, section details, materials, and installation method.
- CAD (DWG or DXF) and high-resolution PDF versions.
- Must follow standards shown in examples like:
- Site plan with unit/location labeled.
- Structural details (channel letters, aluminum backing, LED wiring, etc.).
Requirements:
- Proven experience with signage drawings or permit submission drawings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD tools.
- Understanding of municipal signage requirements in Ontario (preferred).
- Able to deliver high-quality work quickly and reliably.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Timeline:
- Project turnaround needed within 2–3 days.
- Future work may involve ongoing signage projects if the quality and speed are excellent.
