Architectural Designer Needed for HOA Submittal – Backyard Improvement 2D Plan

We are seeking an experienced architectural designer or engineer to prepare a professional 2D site plan for our backyard improvement project, in accordance with our HOA’s submission requirements.

Project Scope:
Use our builder-provided original house plan (with exact scale and dimensions) as the base.
Incorporate details from my initial design, photos, and videos.
Ensure all elements are drawn to accurate scale.
Include measurements, materials, and colors for each element.
Clearly mark locations of new structures: retaining wall, stairs, deck, concrete flatwork, planting areas, etc.
Ensure compliance with:
HOA guidelines (we will provide rules and previous ARC feedback)
County setback requirements and size limits (e.g., deck <120 sq ft)
Deliverables:
Final 2D scaled plan ready for HOA submission (PDF format).
Plan must clearly show:
Dimensions (length, width, height where applicable)
Materials and finishes
Colors
A materials & notes section summarizing specifications.

Requirements:
Proven experience with HOA submittal plans or residential architectural drawings.
Ability to work from provided documents, photos, and videos.

Milestones:
1.Draft Plan with accurate scale/layout
2.Final Plan with all HOA-required details, ready for submission
Note: Payment release is conditional upon HOA approval of the submitted plan.
