Architect needed to review and revise 2D floor plans for residential buildings (3 blocks)
Budget: $200 – $300 USD
I'm a residential developer working on a project of three buildings and I'm looking for an experienced architect to act as a second set of eyes on drawings prepared by the project's main architect.
I have a set of 2D floor plans for the blocks and a list of specific comments and concerns I'd like challenged and addressed. Your role is to critically review the existing drawings against my comments, advise where my points are valid (and flag where the original architect's approach may be sound), and then produce revised 2D drawings that reflect the agreed changes.
Scope of work:
Review the existing 2D floor plans for all three buildings
Assess my comments and provide brief professional feedback on each
Produce clean, revised 2D drawings incorporating the changes
One or two rounds of revisions after my feedback
Deliverables:
Revised 2D floor plans in DWG and PDF
A short written response to my comments
What I'm looking for:
Qualified architect with residential experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Able to constructively challenge existing design decisions and justify recommendations
Clear communicator
Available to start immediately and able to turn this around quickly — please only apply if you have availability now and can commit to a fast turnaround
Pricing & process:
This is a fixed-price engagement. Please submit your initial quote with your application. The agreed price will be confirmed following a short project walk-through session with the selected freelancer, once the full scope and drawings have been shared.
