16-bit Pixel Art Character

I’m building a side-scrolling metroidvania and need a talented 2D pixel artist to bring my main hero to life in that unmistakable SNES / Sega Genesis look. The character is a human with a light, cartoonish feel—think bright colours, clear silhouettes, but still grounded enough to fit an adventurous fantasy world.

Scope
• Ten distinct animations, including—but not limited to—walking/running, jumping and three different attack moves. The remaining sets will cover essentials like idle, hurt, slide, wall-grab and death so the full move-set feels complete.
• Roughly sixty individual sprites total. That count can flex slightly if an extra frame or two is needed to smooth out motion.
• Sprite size should sit comfortably in the 32-bit era range (48–64 px height is ideal).
• Deliver a clean, organised sprite sheet (PNG with transparency) plus the original layered source from Aseprite, Photoshop or your preferred pixel-friendly tool so I can re-map colours later if necessary.
