YouTube Entertainment Video Editor Animator

I run an entertainment-focused YouTube channel and I’m ready to bring a dedicated editor–animator onto the team for the long haul. Each episode mixes live-action footage with short 2D animated moments, so I need someone who is equally comfortable trimming clips, balancing audio, adding sound-design flair, and slipping in animation that feels believable next to real footage.

The animation itself doesn’t have to be strictly hand-drawn or motion-graphics in the traditional sense; AI-assisted workflows are welcome as long as the end result looks realistic and on-brand. Think subtle character inserts, infographic-style callouts, or backgrounds that extend the set—not cartoon slapstick. You’ll decide whether Toon Boom, After Effects, Blender Grease Pencil, Stable Diffusion, or another tool chain gets us there fastest, as long as the final look remains crisp and cohesive.

Typical workflow
• Raw footage and a rough script arrive in a shared Drive folder
• You cut, colour-grade, layer in SFX & royalty-free music, then produce the first draft
• Add the 2D animated segments where storyboarded (10–40 seconds total per video)
• We swap feedback via frame-accurate comments
• Final export in 4K and a lightly-compressed 1080p, plus editable project files

There’s no single “deadline” because this is continuous content, but reliability matters: once we agree on a release schedule, I need steady delivery each week. If you have a reel that proves you can blend live-action editing with convincing 2D animation, let’s talk and start creating.
