Whiteboard Animation explainer video Artist for Narrated Men’s Personal Development Series

We are producing two narrated explainer video segments for Men’s transformational self-leadership using a Joseph Campbell hero's journey theme, look and feel. The visual style is hand-drawn whiteboard animation — clean, warm, and intelligent. Think RSA Animate meets cinematic joseph campbell’s hero’s journey. Nothing clinical, nothing corporate.
Both segments come with completed narration scripts that include detailed scene-by-scene visual direction, timing cues, and whiteboard animation descriptions. The narration will be recorded by a professional voice (provided by us). You will be responsible for the visual animation, synced to the narration audio.

What We Provide

• Two completed narration scripts with scene-by-scene whiteboard direction, timing brackets, and visual descriptions
• In process to be completed (in production): Recorded narration audio track (WAV or MP3) for each segment, timed and ready for sync
• A visual style reference document (mood, tone, color palette notes) — we are open to your interpretation within the whiteboard genre
• Direct communication with the creative director throughout production

What We Need From You

• Hand-drawn whiteboard animation for both segments, synced to narration audio
• Clean, professional visual storytelling — warm and human, not sterile or overly corporate
• Ability to illustrate simple metaphorical concepts (compass, forge, mirror, flywheel, ripples, cell biology) in a way that feels hand-crafted and approachable
• Smooth transitions between scenes (no hard jump-cuts — the hand-drawing effect carries continuity)
• Final delivery as high-resolution MP4 files (1920x1080 minimum), with and without narration audio baked in
• Willingness to provide revisions per segment after initial delivery

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced whiteboard animator with a portfolio showing narrated explainer work (educational, personal development, or thought-leadership content preferred)
• Comfortable working from a detailed script with specific visual direction — but also brings creative instinct to the execution
• Strong sense of pacing — understands how visual beats align with spoken narration
• Familiar with tools such as VideoScribe, Doodly, After Effects, Procreate, or similar whiteboard/hand-drawn animation platforms
• Able to deliver both segments within 3–4 weeks of project kickoff
• Professional communication and responsive to feedback
