Whimsical 21-Page Kids Illustrations

I have written a 21-page picture book for children aged 4-7 and now need those pages to burst into life with colour, movement and a touch of wonder. Every scene is set in a Fantasy and Magic world—think friendly dragons, glowing forests, and spellbound adventure—yet I’m still flexible on the exact illustration style. Whether your strength leans toward cute cartoons, painterly realism, or something in-between, I’m keen to see how you’d interpret the story’s playful tone.

Scope of work
• Create a full-colour illustration for each of the 21 interior pages, sized for standard print and e-book formats.
• Provide any necessary spot or background elements that help the text flow naturally on the page.
• Supply finished files at print-ready resolution (300 dpi), plus layered source files (PSD, AI, or Procreate) so minor text or layout tweaks can be made later.

Acceptance criteria
• Artwork must capture a sense of magic that appeals to 4-7-year-olds—bright, friendly, and easy to read at a glance.
• Characters must remain consistent in look and scale from page to page.
• Colours should stay vibrant in CMYK conversion and remain clear on screens for the digital edition.
• Final delivery: 21 high-res illustrations, layered source files, and flattened PNG/JPEG previews.
