Vector Horror Story Animator

I’m putting together a new series of 5- to 10-minute horror stories for YouTube and need a 2D vector animator who can carry the entire visual side—from rigging fresh characters to delivering the final animation. The look I’m after is the clean, shape-based style you’d build in Adobe Animate or Moho, but with backgrounds that feel unmistakably creepy and dark. Think flickering hallway lights, long shadows, and plenty of negative space for tension.

Because I don’t have existing models, you’ll be free to design the characters yourself. The key is personality: silhouettes that read instantly and facial rigs flexible enough for fear, shock, and the occasional jump scare. Sudden movements, sharp cuts, and other “boo!” moments should land smoothly without breaking the minimalist aesthetic.

For each episode I’ll supply the narrated script and audio track. From there, I’ll look to you for:

• Original vector character design and full rigging
• Backgrounds that fit the unsettling mood while staying stylistically simple
• Complete animation timed to the provided voice-over, with emphasis on jump scares and dynamic pacing
• Final export in 1080p, ready to upload to YouTube
