2D/3D Trailer & Pilot Animation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m ready to bring my original series to life and need a skilled animator who thrives in a mixed 2D-and-3D workflow. All core assets are waiting for you: fully developed character models, detailed world maps, imposing biomechs, the series logo, a complete pitch deck, plus the scripted plot for the pilot episode.
Here’s the brief. The project splits into two linked pieces: a 30-second teaser trailer that hooks viewers with a suspenseful, action-driven, dramatic feel, followed by a polished 3-minute pilot episode that deepens that same tone. I want the visual language to weave hand-drawn texture with dynamic CGI depth—think seamless 2D character emoting within layered 3D environments and biomech set-pieces.
You’ll handle storyboarding (working from my outline), animatics, full animation, compositing, sound‐sync, and final mastering. I’ll supply reference art, color keys, and any additional lore you need; you guide the pipeline, suggest the best software mix (Toon Boom, Blender, Maya, After Effects—whatever gets us the smoothest hybrid look), and keep me updated with WIP renders.
Deliverables:
• 30-second trailer, mastered for web and festival submission (H.264 1080p).
• 3-minute pilot episode, same specs, plus separate audio stems and layered project files for future edits.
I’m open to your creative input on camera moves, lighting, and FX so long as we keep the pacing tight and the suspense high. If you have past samples that showcase fluid 2D character work inside a 3D world, I’d love to see them. Let’s craft something unforgettable together.
