Toon Boom Pilot Animator

I’m seeking an experienced Toon Boom Harmony animator to help bring my first 2D animated pilot episode to life.

The project will begin with a short 30-second animated scene from the pilot episode to establish the visual style, emotional tone, character movement, and overall world-building before moving into full episode production.

The series is centered around warm, emotionally intelligent storytelling with a cinematic yet playful visual style. The animation should feel expressive, natural, and grounded in believable character performances, with soft humour, charming interactions, and appealing movement suitable for both children and families. Strong attention to simple facial expressions, body language, timing, and subtle acting is important.

Key Requirements:

* Rigging of 3 main characters in Toon Boom Harmony (with additional characters to follow)
* Animation of an initial 30-second pilot sequence
* Ability to work from partially completed character designs and visual references
* Delivery of all source/project files upon completion
* Collaborative approach to refining movement, expressions, and overall tone

Ideal Skills:

* Advanced proficiency in Toon Boom Harmony
* Strong experience in high-quality 2D character animation and rigging
* Ability to create expressive, emotionally engaging performances
* Experience working on children’s animation, narrative storytelling, or broadcast-style productions
* Understanding of cinematic staging, pacing, and appealing character motion
