Subtle Cinematic Cave Animation

Job ID: 40496294

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have six stylised cave-drawing symbols that need to come alive through 2D animation. The movement should feel restrained yet unmistakably cinematic—think of torchlight catching ancient pigment, quiet particles of dust in the air, and a slow-burn sense of impending discovery.

I’m aiming for a dramatic, intense atmosphere rather than something playful or serene, so nuanced lighting, textured shadows, and carefully timed motion will be key. Each symbol already exists as a high-resolution still; your task is to add life while preserving their rough, hand-etched character.

Deliverables
• Six individual animated clips, loop-ready, 4–10 seconds each (ProRes 4444 with alpha or high-quality PNG sequence)
• Consolidated project file (After Effects, Toon Boom, or similar) with clearly organised layers so tweaks are simple
• A short compilation video showing all symbols in sequence with subtle sound design (optional but appreciated)

Acceptance Criteria
• Authentic cave-wall texture retained—no artificial gloss or smoothing
• Smooth, flicker-free loops that can be stacked in a timeline without visible jumps
• Dramatic lighting and motion consistent across all six pieces

If this fits your skill set and you’re confident you can evoke that tense, cinematic feel without over-animating the drawings, let’s talk timelines and next steps.
