Spooky Google Knife Slash Intro
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I’m putting together a short tech-focused reel and need a quick 5- to 10-second opener in 2D animation. Picture the Google logo in a spooky, Tim Burton-inspired aesthetic—think Wednesday Addams Netflix vibe—looming with a knife, then slashing down to “kill” the old “&num=100” URL parameter. As soon as the blade lands, the scene should cut cleanly to my live-action footage.
Keep the animation punchy and dramatic without drifting into full horror. A simple sound cue that matches the slash would be great, but the visual is the priority. I’m flexible on colours; you can stick with standard Google hues or tweak them to fit the moody atmosphere, whichever looks sharper.
This first intro is a basic test run. If we click on style, timing and price, I’ll have a steady stream of similar clips for future reels—so consider this an audition for regular work.
Deliverables:
• 5–10 sec 2D animated clip in 1080p (transparent background or alpha channel preferred)
• Clean cut at end to transition into my footage
• Source file (After Effects, Animate, or similar) for minor text tweaks
