Title:
Simple Lottie animation - cartoon brain scrolling on a phone (vector + After Effects)
Project overview:
I need a clean, minimalistic animation of a cartoon brain scrolling on a phone. This will live just under the hero section of a landing page, so it must loop seamlessly, feel lightweight, and work well on both desktop and mobile.
I already have a raster image of the character, but it is not yet vectorised.
What I need you to do:
1. Rebuild the artwork as clean, layered vectors in Illustrator (or equivalent).
2. Animate it in Adobe After Effects.
3. Export the final animation as a Lottie (.json) file suitable for web.
Animation direction (approx. 3-5 seconds, seamless loop):
- The brain holds a phone.
- A small finger “flick” scrolling motion.
- Content inside the phone moves upward like a feed.
- Very subtle brain movement (tilt or float) so it feels alive.
- Smooth, clean easing - no jitter, no mechanical motion, no flashy effects.
Style:
- Minimal, bold, mascot-style illustration (similar in spirit to Duolingo / Notion / Slack animations).
- No text, captions, or labels needed.
Deliverables:
- Final After Effects project file (.aep)
- Lottie JSON export
- Vector artwork (.ai or layered SVG)
Requirements:
- Must use Adobe After Effects (for Lottie export).
- Experience creating Lottie animations for web.
- Experience structuring artwork into animation-ready layers (e.g., separate finger, phone screen, brain, etc.).
Please include examples of looping character or Lottie animations in your proposal.
