Serious 2D Cartoon Story Video

I’m ready to turn a mature, story-driven script into a full 2D animated short aimed squarely at adults. The subject matter is serious, so I’m looking for animation that feels cinematic rather than slapstick—think nuanced character acting, restrained colour palettes, and deliberate pacing that lets the themes breathe.

Once we start I’ll share the finished script and voice-over. Your role spans visual development through final mastering: storyboard, character and background design, clean-up, colour, animation, compositing, and sound design. Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, or a comparable pro-grade 2D pipeline is preferred so I can keep editable files for future tweaks.
