30-Second Story-driven Animation Prototype

Job ID: 40549624

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

Trial Animation Brief (30 Seconds)

Objective

Create a 30-second trial animation that demonstrates your ability to match the overall quality, storytelling, and animation style we're looking for.

The animation should be inspired by the reference videos below, but **not copied**. We want our own unique identity while keeping the same engaging, story-driven feel.

### Reference Videos

--- Style Direction

We're aiming for a clean, simple 2D animation style that relies on strong visual storytelling.

The animation should feature:

* Clean, readable character designs
* Simple but expressive character animation
* Smooth pacing and timing
* Clear backgrounds that support the story without unnecessary detail
* Dynamic camera movement where appropriate
* Visuals that enhance the narration

Think of it as an animated "Draw My Life" style with more polished character designs.

--- Character Design

The characters should remain simple enough for efficient animation, but they should not feel like stick figures.

We're looking for:

* Slightly fuller body shapes
* Clear silhouettes
* Expressive poses and facial expressions
* More personality than the reference videos

The provided Character Design Sample should be used only as inspiration for proportions and style.

- Narrator Character

Our channel mascot (profile character) should be redesigned to match the visual style of the animation.

This narrator should:

* Enter from the side of the screen when appropriate.
* React while speaking.
* Shake or animate subtly during important analysis or commentary.

For the narrator's behavior only, please use this reference:

**Note:** This video is only a reference for the narrator's behavior—not the overall animation style.

## Trial Script

**Freedom.**

That's what this story is about.

Not treasure.

Not power.

Not even becoming the Pirate King.

For Monkey D. Luffy, it has always been about one thing.

**Freedom.**

And to understand how a reckless kid from a tiny village became one of the most notorious and dangerous people on the planet, we have to go back to the very beginning.

Before the chaos.

Before the battles.

Before the world knew his name.

Luffy was just a kid in a quiet place called Windmill Village.

A small village with a small population where nothing important ever really happened.

What We'll Be Looking For

* Ability to match the overall visual direction.
* Strong storytelling through animation.
* Smooth and engaging pacing.
* Character consistency.
* Creative scene composition.
* Originality while staying true to the reference style.

We're looking forward to seeing your creativity and how you interpret the script while keeping the overall feel of the reference videos.
