Satirical 2D Cartoon Music Video
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a fully storyboarded, tongue-in-cheek music video running just under five minutes, along with a handful of short companion skits that share the same irreverent tone. All character designs, turnaround sheets, and layered background files are done; what I need now is a 2D animator who can bring the cast to life with expressive, punchy character animation.
Your main focus is performance: lip-sync to the track, comedic timing, and exaggerated poses that sell the satire. Background elements are already laid out, so you can drop your scenes straight into the provided PSD/AI files and concentrate on the movement. I’ll supply the final audio mix, animatics with rough timing, and a complete shot list that flags any special cues or on-beat gags.
Deliverables
• A fully animated 3–5-minute music video in 1920×1080, 24 fps (clean line art and coloured)
• Separate export of each additional short scene (average 10–20 seconds)
• Project files in the native software you use (Toon Boom, Adobe Animate, TVPaint, or equivalent) so I can handle future tweaks
• One round of revisions after first cut
Final files should arrive ready for edit and grade, with all layers organised and named. If you thrive on snappy character work and know how to milk a joke through motion, let’s talk timing and milestones—my assets are prepped and waiting.
