Retro Slot Machine Art & Animation + Developer
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building a classic-feeling 2D slot machine and need a designer-animator who lives and breathes retro aesthetics. The brief is focused on front-end visuals only—no coding—so you’ll be free to pour all of your effort into eye-catching pixel-style artwork and snappy animations.
Here’s exactly what I’m after:
• Reel icons: a complete, cohesive set of retro-themed symbols delivered as layered PNG or SVG files.
• Background scenes: at least one day and one night variation that scale cleanly to common desktop and mobile resolutions.
• Animations:
– a smooth spinning reel sequence that can loop seamlessly;
– celebratory win animations for minor, major, and jackpot combinations (sprite sheets or PNG sequences are fine).
Assets should be ready for direct drop-in to a Unity or Phaser project, with transparent backgrounds where appropriate. If you prefer working in Photoshop, Illustrator, Aseprite, or similar tools, that’s perfect—as long as the final export formats are clear.
I’ll handle integration, but to speed testing I’d like a quick preview file (GIF or MP4) showing each animation in action before final hand-off. Once everything looks right, you’ll package the layered source files and exported assets in an organized folder structure.
If retro slots are your jam and you can turn around polished, nostalgic art with smooth frame-based animation, I’d love to see a sample of comparable work and discuss timelines.
