Realistic Ghibli Science Animations
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m building a new YouTube channel that blends science, mathematics, technology and engineering with the gentle magic of Studio Ghibli. Each episode leans on visual storytelling rather than talking-head explanations, so the animation has to do the heavy lifting: atmosphere, mood, and clear illustration of sometimes abstract STEM ideas.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Ghibli-inspired, realistic-and-detailed sequences—think convincing environments, expressive characters and nuanced motion rather than overt whimsy.
• Story-driven shots that make complex concepts intuitive; a swirling galaxy for a relativity segment, or intricate machinery turning to show an engineering principle.
• Assets delivered as layered, high-resolution PNG sequences or an equivalent vector/rig file ready for compositing in Adobe After Effects (OpenToonz, Toon Boom Harmony or similar pipelines welcome).
The typical video will require one to three minutes of finished animation, broken into several shorter segments. Once we agree on a storyboard, I’ll supply voice-over, timing cues and any reference diagrams; you turn those into polished final scenes that drop seamlessly onto my editing timeline.
Acceptance criteria
1. Visual style matches the realistic Ghibli reference frames we’ll review together.
2. Smooth 24 fps animation; no strobing or jitter.
3. Color grading consistent across shots and compatible with Rec. 709 delivery.
4. All project files handed over on completion so I can archive or tweak for future episodes.
If you’re passionate about science and can paint that wonder on screen with the warmth of a classic Ghibli film, I’d love to see your reel and discuss our first test segment.
