2D Portfolio Animation Showcase
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
My portfolio website needs a polished, eye-catching 2D animation that quickly demonstrates the skills and techniques I bring to each project. The piece will sit prominently on the homepage, so it has to load fast, look crisp on both desktop and mobile, and instantly convey creativity and technical fluency.
The flow is up to you—character-based, abstract, or typographic—as long as it feels cohesive with a modern design portfolio. Smooth timing, a clear visual hierarchy, and thoughtful transitions are essential; there’s no voice-over or lengthy narrative, just a dynamic visual statement about my craft.
Preferred tools include Adobe After Effects, Animate, Toon Boom, or equivalent vector-friendly software, provided the final output stays lightweight. Color palette, brand guidelines, and any existing assets will be supplied once we agree on a concept.
Deliverables
• 15–30 second 2D animation, exported in MP4 and WebM, optimized for web (under 5 MB each).
• Looping GIF (optional but appreciated) for quick previews.
• Source project files, neatly organized and fully editable.
• One round of revisions built into the timeline.
Acceptance Criteria
The animation must:
• Load without noticeable delay on standard broadband.
• Display crisp edges on high-resolution screens (retina).
• Clearly illustrate at least three core skills/techniques through motion, iconography, or clever transitions.
• Match the color and typography guidelines provided.
Timeline is flexible but ideally wrapped within two weeks once the storyboard is approved. Feel free to share a brief reel or links to comparable 2D pieces you have produced—seeing how you handle pacing and visual storytelling will help finalize the direction quickly.
