Philippine Stylized Horror Animation
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I have a 7–10-minute horror script that needs to be brought to life through Traditional 2D animation. I’m after a dark, gritty mood that lingers rather than relying on cheap jump scares. Atmosphere is everything, and the most powerful way to achieve it here is through bold, stylized, abstract character design that instantly unsettles the viewer.
I’m based in the Philippines and need a fellow Philippine-based animator so we can sync easily on time zones and occasional in-person reviews if needed. While the core technique will be hand-drawn 2D, I’m completely open to you mixing in unconventional or hybrid workflow tricks—paint-overs, scanned textures, experimental comp work—anything that deepens the unease without gimmicks.
Key deliverables
• Style frames that lock down the look and feel of our abstract characters and overall palette
• An animatic timed to the full 7–10-minute run-time for pacing approval
• The final animation in 1080p (or higher) with separate audio stems for dialogue, SFX, and music
• Source files (layers intact) so the project can be archived or extended later
Acceptance criteria
• Runtime falls between 7 and 10 minutes, including titles
• Character designs remain stylized/abstract and drive the unsettling tone
• Lighting, texture, and color choices reinforce a gritty atmosphere without relying on jump scares
• Final cut delivered on the agreed schedule with two milestone reviews: animatic and first full render
