I need a reliable illustrator to pick up where the last artist vanished. The immediate task is ten black-and-white pages in a clean, modern-anime style. I already have a polished script, fully detailed character sheets, and a folder of New York City photo references ready to share the moment we agree to proceed.
The story continues in Manhattan, so accuracy in buildings, streets, and general city atmosphere is important even though the pages will remain monochrome. Because all designs and references are complete, your focus can stay on dynamic paneling, expressive line work, and faithful rendering of the locations.
I can begin collaborating on 19 September and have set aside roughly $170–190 to cover this initial ten-page batch, with payment released in sensible milestones (e.g., rough layouts, inks, final files).
Deliverables I’ll need from you:
• Ten high-resolution, press-ready pages (PSD or TIFF with layers intact, plus flattened PNGs for quick review)
• Any reused assets or custom brushes you create for these pages
