Onboarding Illustrations & Animation
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I’m creating a user-onboarding flow for a media fact-checking app and need a skilled 2D animator-illustrator to bring the story to life in a calm, professional aesthetic (e.g. Anthropic, Google).
Scope
• Create a concise set of abstract illustrations that guide new users through three key moments: spotting dubious content, diving into analysis, and reviewing the fruits of that labor.
• Deliver either static artwork or subtle motion variants. We should discuss animation formats, ideally that can run on web and iOS; if that is difficult we may just agree on static.
• Include characters, icons, and scene compositions that feel professional rather than playful—think clean shapes, muted palettes, and gentle easing.
• Provide layered source files (Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom, or a comparable vector-friendly tool) ready for hand-off to my dev team.
What I’m Looking For
• Proven experience designing onboarding or explainer visuals.
• Strong illustration fundamentals blended with confident motion design.
• Clear communication and reliable turnaround times.
