Oilfield 2D Cartoon Explainer
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I have a four-panel storyboard and final script ready to promote my Alberta hot-oiling service, and I now need it brought to life as a 60-second marketing piece. The finished spot must stay true to the traditional 2D look I sketched: Gus, our seasoned operator, interacting with his pump truck in a straightforward, blue-collar style that feels authentic to the field.
Here’s what matters most to me:
• Animation: Smooth, traditional 2D that keeps the hand-drawn charm of the original panels.
• Voice: One English track in a deep, raspy, “been-on-rigs-for-years” tone, synced perfectly to the script.
• Branding: I’ll supply our colour palette, logo, and font references—please apply them consistently so the video slots straight into our existing materials.
Deliverables
1. Final 1920×1080 MP4 (60 s) ready for web and trade-show screens.
2. Separate clean WAV of the voiceover.
3. Source project files (Adobe Animate, Toon Boom, or similar) with neatly organised layers.
Acceptance will be based on faithful character likeness, on-brand colours, lip-sync accuracy, and a fluid pacing that fits the approved script. If you’re comfortable combining 2D animation, video services and voice talent in one seamless package, I’d love to see a sample of similar work and hear a short demo in the requested voice style.

Scene 1: The Problem
Visual: Show the top cartoon panel with the operator looking stressed. Zoom in on the pipe cross-section choked with thick, dark yellow wax.
