Neko Anime Character Animator
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I’m putting together an original, 24-episode anime that centres on a cast of dynamic neko women, each episode running about 28 minutes including the intro. The vision calls for a clean, Modern-anime look and fluid, personality-driven character animation.
Here’s what I need from you right away: polished samples—hand-drawn or digitally illustrated—showing strong anatomy, expressive poses, and motion work. Please do not send AI-generated art; I want to see your own line art, colour work, and, if possible, short animation reels that prove you can breathe life into characters.
Because I only have the core idea at this stage, I’ll rely on you for the full sweep of design work: defining silhouettes, building wardrobes, mapping facial expression sheets, and shaping each character’s quirks and back-story so the writing team can lock the scripts around them. Once the designs are approved, you’ll move straight into character-focused animation—everything from key poses and breakdowns to polished cuts suitable for compositing over painted backgrounds.
If we click, you’ll stay on through all 24 episodes and receive a percentage of profits should the series perform well on release. Tools are up to you—Clip Studio Paint, Toon Boom Harmony, TVPaint, or a traditional pencil-and-paper workflow scanned to digital—as long as the end result fits broadcast standards.
Send over:
• A link to your portfolio or reel (no drive-by links that expire)
• One or two finished character sheets in a modern style
• Any short clips that spotlight your animation timing
I’ll review submissions as they arrive and reach out quickly to artists who match the aesthetic and storytelling energy I’m after.
