Job Description

I’m looking for a freelance Motion Designer to collaborate with me on upcoming projects. I need a candidate who is proficient in both 2D and 3D animation, and who has solid illustration skills. You must be creative and able to manage your tasks autonomously.
To evaluate your skills across all three domains, I have a small task for you:
I have a rough sketch of a logo for a video creative studio. Your mission will consist of three parts:
1. Logo Design Refinement (Illustration): While I like the logo's core concept, I’m not yet settled on its overall shape and design. I'll ask you to redraw it in Illustrator and create several compelling variations.
2. 2D Animation: Once the first step is approved, create a 2D animation of the logo. The most creative and unconventional ideas are welcome! The tool is not important (e.g., After Effects, Procreate, Adobe Animate).
3. 3D Animation: Create a 3D animation of the logo using Cinema 4D (Redshift).
I will require the source files for all your final creations (Illustrator file for vectors, After Effects file if used for 2D, and Cinema 4D file).
I will evaluate candidates based on the following criteria (in order of importance):
1. Final Result Quality
2. Creativity
3. Speed of Delivery
4. Workflow/Process

What You'll Need
