7-Minute 2D Psychological Horror Animation

I’m producing a 7–8 minute horror short and need a talented 2D animator to help me bring it to life. The mood is psychological thriller—quiet dread that slowly tightens—culminating in a clear, unmistakably supernatural reveal.

You’ll start from my written outline and guide it through storyboard, animatic, rough pass, clean-up and final render. Smooth character acting, thoughtful camera moves and lighting that foreshadows the twist are essential; splatter and jump scares are not our focus.

The story follows a lone passenger trapped overnight in an abandoned railway station, stalked by something that may be a hallucination—until the ending proves otherwise. Atmosphere will rely heavily on colour, texture and a layered soundscape, so original backgrounds, expressive facial work and well-timed SFX are crucial. Final delivery: 1080p (H.264) video, separate audio stems, plus all project files.

Milestones will fall at storyboard, rough animation, coloured final and mastered export.
