7-Minute Dark Horror Animation
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m commissioning a 7–8 minute 2D horror short that feels realistic, dark, and relentlessly tense—think the atmosphere of “Khooni Monday,” but pushed even further into suspense. I don’t yet have a script or storyboard, so the project starts with story development: you’ll pitch a concise concept, expand it into a tight script, then translate that into a clear storyboard or rough animatic before moving on to full animation.
Visual tone
The look should lean toward gritty realism—muted palettes, dramatic shadows, unsettling camera moves—while still embracing the possibilities of expressive 2D character work. Smooth, believable motion matters more to me than flashy effects, and I’d rather build dread through lighting, timing, and sound design than overt gore.
Scope and workflow
A modest budget means I appreciate efficient pipelines; whether you favour Toon Boom, TVPaint, After Effects, or another 2D setup, I’m open as long as it delivers quality. Throughout production we’ll stay in touch on scene approvals, music cues, and any voice-over needs so nothing drifts off-style.
Deliverables

• Final 7–8 min animation in 1080p (H.264) with synced audio
• All project files and layered assets for archival
