2-3 Minute 2D Anime Pilot

Job ID: 40092678

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I have a complete script, story outline, and finished character designs for a new anime series and now need a talented animator to bring the vision to life in a short pilot episode of roughly two to three minutes. My goal is to showcase the tone, pacing, and overall appeal of the series to potential partners and audiences.

The animation itself must be traditional 2D with moderately detailed characters and backgrounds—think clean linework, dynamic posing, and expressive facial animation that matches the feel of well-known series I’ll reference once we begin. While I can share exact titles and visual links after NDA or agreement, expect a mainstream shōnen aesthetic rather than ultra-minimal or overly realistic shading.

Core expectations
• Storyboard and rough animatic based on my script (I provide dialogue timing and scene notes).
• Key animation, in-betweens, color, and compositing to produce a polished 1080p final cut (around 24 fps).
• Simple atmospheric audio cues or placeholders for timing purposes; full sound design is welcome but not mandatory at this stage.
• Delivery of the rendered pilot (MP4 or MOV), plus layered source files (PSD/CLIP/TVPaint/Toon Boom, whichever you use) so we can iterate later.

Timeline is flexible within reason, though an initial storyboard pass within two weeks of kickoff would help us stay on track. If you love anime, have a portfolio that proves solid character acting and camera movement, and are comfortable collaborating over Discord or similar, I’d love to see your reel and discuss next steps.
