2D or 3D Mine to Oil Animation Series
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I need four separate 45-second 2D or 3D animations that walk viewers through our subterranean extraction concept.
First Video - The sequence opens with a surface view, sinks a mine shaft beneath an oil reservoir, carves out an underground work room, drills upward into the reservoir, then shows crude draining and being collected into the chamber and being pumped back to the surface. See example video looking for more modern and attractive.
Second Video - 10 acre lot in an urban area. Sink the mineshaft down under the town reservoir, carves out an underground work room, drills upward into the reservoir, then shows crude draining and being collected into the chamber and being pumped back to the surface
Third Video - Off Shore Oil Platform 5 miles out from land. Build a mineshaft underneath the platform. Goes down 100 feet of water then an additional 1200 feet below the ocean floor and below the oil reservoir. carves out an underground work room, drills upward into the reservoir, then shows crude draining and being collected into the chamber and being pumped back to the surface.
Forth Video - Onshore near the ocean. The sequence opens with a surface view, sinks a mine shaft beneath an oil reservoir, carves out an underground work room, tunneling under the ocean floor and below the reservoir 1 mile, drills upward into the reservoir, then shows crude draining and being collected into the chamber and being pumped back to the surface
Visually I’m after a clean, semi-realistic style—modern engineering explainer rather than cartoon or photoreal CGI—so geological layers, machinery and fluid flow should feel believable yet stylized enough to stay clear. I’ll provide rough storyboards, a script outline and links to earlier examples; your task is to re-imagine them with today’s design sensibilities, smoother motion and crisp infographics.
Voice-over and music will be handled on my side, so the focus is on animated visuals, on-screen labels and subtle SFX.
Deliverables
• Four individual HD (1920×1080) video files, ≈45 s each
• Editable project files (After Effects, Toon Boom or comparable 2D or 3D package)
• One revision round per video after first cut
I’d like the first draft of video one within one week of kick-off, with the rest following on an agreed schedule. When you reply, please mention your preferred 2D and or 3D pipeline, share samples of semi-realistic technical work and outline the timeline you’re comfortable hitting.
