Manga Anime Mixed Media Adaptation -- 2
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I have a completed manga and I’m ready to see it come alive as a short-format anime series. Each episode will run roughly 5–10 minutes and I want the visuals to blend the warmth of traditional drawing with the precision of digital 2D compositing—in other words, a true mixed-media treatment that keeps the hand-drawn soul while leveraging digital polish for camera moves, effects, and color.
What I need from you is end-to-end 2D animation skill: layout, key animation, clean-up, compositing, and final export in broadcast-ready format. A strong sense of pacing for TV storytelling, solid lip-sync, and the ability to integrate limited 3D props or After Effects layers where they enhance the shot will be essential.
Please show me past work that demonstrates smooth character acting, dynamic action cuts, or inventive mixed-technique sequences. If you have already turned graphic novels or webtoons into animation, highlight that so I can gauge how you handle adaptation.
To keep expectations clear, here’s what I’d like delivered for the pilot episode:
• Storyboard & timed animatic approved before animation starts
• Character and prop model sheets in layered PSD or Clip Studio format
• Rough and clean animation passes, shared in HD for notes
• Final composite with sound track (I’ll supply audio) in 1080p ProRes or equivalent
Once the pilot is locked we can roll straight into the remaining episodes under a similar workflow and schedule. If this sounds like the kind of project that fires you up, send over your reel and a brief note on how you would tackle the mixed-media look. I’m aiming for the best show possible and look forward to collaborating with someone just as passionate.
