Kids Animation Tutor Needed
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
My 9-year-old daughter already makes short cartoons on her tablet and wants to push her animation skills further. I want a friendly, patient tutor who can focus solely on animation, reviewing her current work, pointing out how to improve timing, squash-and-stretch, staging and other core principles, then guiding her through fun exercises that build confidence and technique.
She jumps between several apps now, so the exact software is flexible. If you’re comfortable in tools like Adobe Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, Blender or similar iPad-friendly programs, that works for us—the key is that you can demonstrate concepts clearly and adapt to whatever platform she’s using that day.
Here’s what I’m hoping for:
• Remote lessons once or twice a week, 30-45 minutes each, tailored to a nine-year-old’s attention span.
• Constructive feedback on her existing creations, plus step-by-step challenges she can practice between sessions.
• Session recordings or simple recap notes so she can revisit new techniques on her own.
Acceptance criteria: after four lessons she should be able to explain and apply at least three classical animation principles in a short finished clip, and feel proud of the result.
If this sounds like a good fit, please let me know how you’d structure the first month of lessons and share any kid-friendly examples of your previous animation teaching.
