Iconic Graphics for Book Presentation
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The objective is to develop iconic graphics in a presentation that show the interconnected three phases of the story life (detailed below) that I can talk about in an author book presentation. It includes three separate iconic graphics that orient the listener to the overall story. Further in the presentation, each of these three graphics will be used separately while discussing specific events in each of these phases of the life in the book. The background color of each separate phase should be different, with the coloring of the childhood phase being happy, the Communism phase should include dark red and black and the coming to America phase should be again happy.
Childhood (happy phase)
Represented by an upward sloping line with a simple figure of an Asian girl happy, skipping along
Communism (sad, dark phase)
Represented by a steep downward sloping line with a simple, young Vietnamese woman figure under the boot of repression.
America:
Represented by a line that slopes up, sharply, then down a little, then up steadily to represent the immediate joy of no longer being oppressed, then the challenges of a new culture, languages, etc. and then the prolonged happiness of living in freedom and opportunity.
