How We Got Here History

I'm looking for a recognisable brand for an online content business, educational videos on history ranging from economics, class, civilizations etc. Something that appeals to children aged 12-18 but mature enough not to be dismissed by university-aged students or regular history heads. My initial thoughts were animated looking at perhaps a coin with a sword or something in it. Willing for designer to have free creative licence over the project.
