2D Horror Animation Story
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m commissioning a 6–10 minute 2-D horror short and need a skilled animator to bring the tale to life from first storyboard to final render. The piece is aimed at dedicated horror enthusiasts—definitely not children or the typical teen crowd—so I want you to feel free to lean into unsettling atmospheres, eerie pacing, and creative scares.
Visually, I’m after something that sits outside the usual “cartoonish / realistic / stylized” buckets; I’m open to experimental techniques, hand-drawn textures, limited-palette colour work, or anything else that immediately sets a dark, distinctive tone. Use whatever 2-D pipeline you’re most comfortable with—Toon Boom Harmony, TVPaint, After Effects, or a custom workflow—just be ready to share your process and source files. Prior experience with horror or similarly moody projects is important; please include samples when you respond.
Deliverables
• Final 6–10 min Full-HD video (MP4)
• All source project files and layers
• Separate audio stems for dialogue, SFX, and music
• Approved storyboard, character sheets, and background designs
I’ll supply the script, voice-over, and an initial mood board once we kick off, and we can lock milestones and deadlines together. If you love crafting scares in 2-D and have the portfolio to match, I’d love to hear how you’d approach this.
