Hawaiian Children’s Book Illustrations
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m writing a picture book series with 3 main characters, a Hawaiian Gecko, a French Bulldog, and a friendly old man. There will be 4 books in the series but I am focusing on the first one to start. I have amazingly cute AI images that are the prototypes of the image I have in mind for each page. But I want original cartoon like images that are similar to the AI image but I need consistency in the characters, which AI cannot perform well. Eventually there is a Gecko Band that will need to be portrayed and they all travel to NY, Japan, and Florida. So scenery will change as the books progress.
I’ll provide page drafts and scene notes so you can sketch rough concepts first; once approved, you’ll move to clean linework and final color. I need consistent characters, lively facial expressions, and an eye for quality throughout.
