Ghibli-Style 2D Story Animation
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I’m setting out to create an original 2D animation in a cinematic, Ghibli-inspired style that will serve purely for storytelling and entertainment. I have a short narrative ready and now need an animator (or small team) who can carry it from concept art all the way to a polished final cut.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Character and background designs that capture the warmth, texture, and fluid motion typical of classic Studio Ghibli films.
• Storyboards and an animatic so we can lock pacing before full production begins.
• Hand-drawn or digitally-hand-drawn animation (TVPaint, Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate—your preferred 2D tool is fine as long as the result feels organic).
• Rich color work and subtle lighting to give the piece that soft, painterly atmosphere.
• Final delivery in 1080p (or higher) with clean dialogue, SFX, and a light musical bed; wav stems and the project file(s) included for future tweaks.
Acceptance criteria
1. Animation length matches the approved storyboard.
2. No dropped frames; motion remains smooth throughout.
3. Color grade consistent with approved style frames.
4. Final render and source files delivered on or before the agreed date.
If you’re passionate about 2D cinematic animation and can bring that unmistakable Ghibli charm to an original story, let’s talk details and schedule.
