Fun 2D Animal Cartoon Animation
Budget: $10 – $60 AUD
I have a playful story that centres on a cast of lively animal characters, and I want to see it turned into a vibrant 2D cartoon purely for entertainment. The style should feel classic Saturday-morning: big expressions, bold colours, smooth motion and a light comedic touch that keeps viewers smiling from first frame to last.
Here’s how I picture the workflow:
• Start with character concepts and rough background layouts so we can lock down the look and personality of each animal early.
• Move on to an animatic or storyboard that nails the timing and gags before you go into full production.
• Produce the final animation in HD (1080p or higher), complete with clean line work, colouring, simple shading and any camera moves or parallax you think will add punch.
• Finish with basic sound design—effects, ambient loops and temp music—so the piece feels alive even before the final score is added on my end.
I’m flexible on tools, but if you’re comfortable in Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, TVPaint or a comparable package, let me know. What matters most is fluid motion and that unmistakable cartoon energy.
