Freelance 2D Animator for Social Media Content
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
We're an independent creative studio seeking a talented 2D animator to join our small but growing team. Originally a children's book company, we produce short, stylized, character-driven content for social media—think animated skits, quirky loops, and comic storytelling for platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.
This is a part-time freelance position with flexible hours. We're especially open to working with international artists, particularly those looking to grow their portfolio, build creative relationships, and work long-term with a low-budget but high-potential team.

What You'll Do:
• Work with our Creative Producer and Director to animate short 2D skits, character loops, and comedy sketches a week.
• Collaborate with our team via zoom, whatsapp, or similar platforms.
• Occasionally assist with character design or graphic layout.
• Help us bring humor, energy, and relatability to our content!

Ideal Candidate:
• Strong foundation in 2D character animation
• Basic design/layout skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, etc.)
• Experience with social media formats/aspect ratios
• A good eye for comedic timing, character, and storytelling
• Comfortable with flexible deadlines and remote communication
• Bonus: experience with social content and meme culture
Nice-to-Haves (but not required):
• Graphic design or illustration background
• Sound editing or motion graphics

• Hourly or per-project pay, depending on experience
• Open to beginner/intermediate animators working at lower rates
