2D Animator – Frame-by-Frame (Stylized Character Animation)
We are looking for a talented 2D Animator skilled in frame-by-frame animation and stylized character motion to join our team for a long-term animated production. This is a paid freelance opportunity with consistent monthly work.
Project Details:
Ongoing animated series with a team-based workflow, producing around 10 minutes of animation collectively each month.
Work closely with the creative director, team lead, and other animators to bring expressive and dynamic scenes to life.
Long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Animate assigned shots frame-by-frame, ensuring appealing, smooth, and expressive motion.
Follow storyboards and animatics while maintaining style consistency.
Collaborate effectively with the team for seamless production.
Deliver high-quality animation within agreed timelines.
Requirements:
Proficiency in 2D frame-by-frame animation using Clip Studio Paint, TVPaint, Krita, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of animation principles (timing, spacing, squash and stretch, weight, anticipation).
Experience with stylized character animation (not cutout or puppet-style).
Comfortable working as part of a remote animation team.
Prior experience on episodic or series-based animation is a plus.
